Our focus is always on deriving practical solutions across a range of potential issues in saline geosystems from training programs to core descriptions, core to wireline transformations, image log interpretation, wireline to seismic ties to basin-scale structural and studies of diagenetic and depositional controls on reservoir positions and quality.

Previous clients include BHP Billiton, BHP Petroleum, Chevron, Exxon, INPEX, Fortescue Metals, MMG, Nexen, PDO, PTTEP, Shell, Statoil and others.

Principal investigator

Dr Warren is the principal expert and technical coordinator for Saltworks. His career spans more than 30 years in salty systems. Currently, he divides his time across various projects within SaltWork Consultancy Pte Ltd. and occasional teaching/research commitments at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.

Interests encompass; Wireline Analysis, Carbonate and Evaporite Systems, Economic Geology and Potash exploration and development. To date, he has written four books on economic aspects of these topics, has contributed chapters covering these topics in a number of books and has published more than 60 scientific articles and reviews.
